Hello there! I hope you have all been staying healthy and safe. I have been staying busy crafting wonderful holiday presents for my friends and family. This year was a challenge, deciding whether to purchase gifts online and send them out, or to make homemade gifts. I opted to do homemade gifts 🙂 I love crafting and making a variety of projects from; t -shirts, blankets, pillows, embroidered pieces, hand made cards and paper projects. I also love doing mixed media projects, using all kinds of paints and inks.
I hope your holiday season was spent enjoying time with family, even if it was over video chat. Being able to throw your arms around your loved ones as you open Christmas presents together, or sitting down to a traditional family meal, are all things I missed this year. I am sure it was a similar case for many families. Technology definitely has come a long way to bring us closer together. Even though you may not be able to hug that special someone, you can still hear their voice and see their face, and that makes a world of difference.
So let’s start the new year with hope and promise in our hearts, for a better year to come. For all the crafters out there, “Crafter’s Gonna Craft” Do what makes your heart happy and let us be grateful for all that we have. 2020 was upside down year, so here is to a fresh start!
